So, what does this word actually mean?

According to Oxford Dictionary, the definition of serendipity is:

“the fact of something interesting or pleasant happening by chance.”

In other words, serendipity is the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

As stated by Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the synonyms of serendipity include blessing, godsend, fortunateness, luck, chance, coincidence, and opportunity. The antonyms of serendipity include mishap, curse, tragedy, trouble, failure, accident, catastrophe, and disaster.

Serendipity is an unplanned fortunate discovery. Serendipity is a common occurrence throughout the history of product invention and scientific discovery. 🔬

The term “serendipity” is often applied to inventions made by chance rather than intent. The origin of cheese, for example, possibly originated in the Nomad practice of storing milk in the stomach of a dead camel that was attached to the saddle of a live one, thereby mixing rennet from the stomach with the milk stored within. 🐄🐫🧀

Anda mungkin sering mendengar, membaca atau mengucapkan kata-kata seperti “analisa” dan “diagnosa” kan?

Apakah kamu tahu bahwa jenis kata tersebut tidak baku dan salah secara tata bahasa? Kalau baru tahu, tidak masalah! Kami akan jelaskan sekarang! 👍😊

Menurut KBBI, kata-kata seperti “analisa” dan “diagnosa” termasuk kata-kata tidak baku dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Kata-kata tersebut masih sering dijumpai baik dalam karya ilmiah seperti jurnal maupun dalam percakapan sehari-hari. Umumnya, kata-kata seperti ini masih sering digunakan oleh kalangan “boomer” atau kalangan orang tua. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya normalisasi dan tradisi penggunaan jenis kata ini beberapa dekade lalu sehingga kalangan “boomer” sudah terbiasa menggunakan jenis kata ini sampai sekarang. 👤💬👤

Bagaimana solusinya? Apakah ada opsi atau bentuk kata baku yang dapat menggantikan kata “analisa” dan “diagnosa”? ❓

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of Princess Diana’s tragic death. 23 years ago, on this very day, the whole world lost an inspiration, a role model, a kind and generous human being whom people admired and loved. In the blink of an eye, Princess Diana was gone.

In the short 36 years of her life, Princess Diana had impacted millions of people worldwide through her generosity and kindness. Princess Diana was the epitome of faith in humanity. She was adored and admired by everyone. Little girls looked up to her, some even wanted to be like her.

Years have gone by since her unfortunate passing. People still look up to her as their inspiration. People are still mesmerized by her. People still love her.

The word euphoria has often been used by many people because of the famous teen drama series called “Euphoria” starring Hollywood actress @zendaya! 🎥📺

“an extremely strong feeling of happiness and excitement that usually lasts only a short time.”
