It has been many months since the COVID-19 pandemic changed everyone’s lives. The number of cases are still rising rapidly every day. The death rate is still increasing. These unfortunate months have caused us not only stress but also sadness, anxiety, and even depression.

How do you cope with stress during COVID-19? ❓❓❓

First of all, it’s normal to feel sad, stressed, confused, scared, or angry. Don’t be too hard on yourself. This pandemic is a new thing for all of us so it takes time to adapt to this sudden change.

Here are some things that you can do to cope with stress during COVID-19:

1. Talk to the people that you trust. Vent with them and avoid bottling up all of your feelings inside. Let those feelings out. 👤💬👤

2. Maintain a healthy lifestyle as best as you can with proper diet, adequate sleep and exercise, and social interaction with loved ones at home or online.

3. Seek professional help for physical and mental health needs instead of using smoking, alcohol, or drugs to cope. 🏥

4. Lessen the time you and your family spend watching or listening to media coverage of news that you find upsetting. ❌❌❌
